Founder and CEO
Grant Townsend B.S.E.
Grant started NuvoCell with a mission to make regenerative medicine more accessible to the people who needed it after a failed back surgery left him searching for non-invasive ways to find relief. With a background in engineering and career in the medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, he leveraged his expertise in helping life science customers launch new and innovative products from early R&D phases to commercial production to start NuvoCell to make non-invasive and natural regenerative options more accessible.
Chief Research Officer
Dr. Raymond Butts PT, DPT, PhD, MS, MAACP, FAAOMPT, OBH, ASP, Dip. A-DNA, Dip. FMR
Dr. Raymond Butts leads NuvoCell’s clinical and research initiatives to deliver on NuvoCell’s mission to educate providers and conduct clinical studies on the rapidly evolving regenerative medicine industry. Dr. Ray is a West Point graduate, PhD Neuroscientist, has authored or co-authored over 60 publications and scholar articles, and is one of the top actively practicing Physical Therapist in the country.

Dr. Ethan Kellum, MD
Dr. Ethan Kellum is a sports medicine fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon leading the advancement of interventional and regenerative orthopedics nationwide. Dr. Kellum serves as a team physician for the NFL’s Tennessee Titans and USA basketball and has worked with the Boston Celtics. Dr. Kellum’s passion for taking a holistic approach to patient care continually drives him to discover the latest advancements in regenerative and orthopedic medicine.

As the Co-Founder and CEO of Torrentia Medical education, Ben lives at the forefront of introducing cutting edge regenerative technologies to providers nationwide.

Dr. Adam Brockman DC, ND
Dr. Adam Brockman is a seasoned regenerative medicine expert and public figure in the health and wellness space. Dr. Brockman is the Executive Producer and Co-Host to America’s #1 Health Talk Radio Show, “The Dr. Bob Martin Show” and founder of nationally renowned stem cell and regenerative medicine clinics, Complete Wellness Companies, which have been recognized as the “Nation’s Best and Brightest in Wellness” for eight consecutive years.

Dr. Sean Vandersluis PhD
Dr. Vandersluis is a PhD biochemist and postdoctoral researcher with a background in stem cell biology who conducts research on stem cell, exosome, lipid-nanoparticle, and topical delivery research for NuvoCell.
Dr. Sean Vandersluis earned his PhD in Biochemistry from McMaster University in 2024, where he investigated how stem cell biology underlies cancer progression. His research led to the discovery of novel therapeutics targeting cancer stem cells and the development of a personalized medicine platform based on cancer stem cell biology.
General Counsel
Timothy M. Papp, DBA, JD, LLM
Timothy Papp serves as general counsel for NuvoCell, overseeing all legal advising, negotiations and contract execution. Mr. Papp is a seasoned executive leader and legal strategist with broad expertise ranging from starting various successful companies to serving as general counsel for NASDAQ listed companies. Timothy has a passion for teaching, mentoring and helping other through his role as an adjunct professor at the University of South Florida.
